We are free and open to the public. … * While Write Inside the Loop does not focus on  poetry, screenplay or non-fiction (excluding memoir) writing, there are a number of other groups on Meetup that do. **This is our most rigid policy.  Otherwise, we do not take ourselves too seriously at WITL--expect copious amounts of coffee (and sometimes wine!), chatter and laughter.

I live in the League City Area and it's difficult to make other book clubs that are all the way on the other side of Houston. I decided it would be fun to start up a book club which meets once a month. We can chow, chat and choose another book for the next time.
