11 Meetup Groups match “Non-Fiction” near Atlanta, GA
We are a smaller book club that meets monthly. We read fiction and non-fiction and have vegetarian-friendly dinners at meetings. Our members come from all walks of life. The things we have in common are that we like to read, have thoughtful discussions, and eat! It's OK to come to the meetings even if you didn't like the book or couldn't finish the book. Also, you don't have to be vegetarian to join, and this group is NOT designed as a forum for reading/discussing books about vegetarianism.

BeCommunity is a newtwork of women who meet to discuss books, movies and who are travel enthusiasts from the Atlanta Metro area. We read a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books, attend movies and take trips in the area, where books are often the focal point. We build new friendships and seek opportunities to grow and learn. Check out and RSVP for an upcoming event. Sincerely, Debra Founder, BeCommunity
We welcome anyone interested in reading and talking about good, well-written books, spanning all genres, both fiction and non-fiction, but (most) always a little off the beaten path.
Founded in 2010, the Buford Book Club focuses on discussing a wide variety of books. Since many of our members work, we try to keep things simple by meeting in public places instead of in homes. We occasionally change the venue to make it convenient for everyone at some point during the year because some members come from 20 miles away. Our purpose is to foster the love of reading, expand reading genres, and gain insight from learning from others. You should join if you love books, meeting …
Yes, this club is for non-readers who wish they could read more, but enjoy books nonetheless. Life is busy but if the topics are of interest to you, join us for discussion. I select a book each from one of 5 or so topics each moth, and discuss intersections in thought, and how these books can help us make our lives better in real ways. This book club is also for the veracious reader, only satisfied when engaged in the pursuit of knowledge. A mind can be enlightened with the synthesis of diverse …

While we love to read and talk about what we read, we tend to find ourselves stuck in a bit of a rut. This group is designed to tickle our literary tastebuds with a range of other genres. Open to anyone who's interested, we invite members to suggest and vote on reads and hopefully discover some new favorites along the way.
This group will promote the understanding of Ayn Rand's philosophy of Objectivism. It is open to those who know nothing about Rand but are curious and to those who are already living the Objectivist lifestyle. Ayn Rand is most famous for her best selling novels The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged but she also wrote very inspiring non-fiction. Her philosophy has been detailed by Dr. Leonard Peikoff in his book, Objectivism, the Philosophy of Ayn Rand. Mission statement of the Ayn Rand Fan Club of …

Are you looking to connect with other progressive Christians? We're a group of curious, questioning, opinionated folks trying to figure out where our faith in a radical, radically welcoming Jesus meets real life. And we like books! We gather twice a month to discuss popular theology, non-fiction, and novels. In the past couple of months we've tackled books by Marcus Borg, Octavia Butler, Shane Claiborne, Doug Pagitt, and Kate Braestrup. This group is sponsored by Praxis Church UCC, a progressiv …
