The West Valley Writers Workshop (WVWW) is organized by writers for writers. Our whole purpose is to help you get published. And if you're already published (and several of our regular members are!) we'll help you become even more successful. Some writers groups are social affairs, we're a bit different. We meet for three hours (09:30 AM-12:30PM) on the first Saturday of each month at the Avondale Public Library, 11350 W Civic Center Drive, Avondale, AZ 85323. Enter through the northernmost door …
This group is for writers of all kinds - professionals, amateurs, writers of fictions, non-fiction, sci-fi, journalist, etc. While there is an important social aspect to the group, it's primary purpose will be to inspire, create, and share written works. We enjoy a structured meet-up every month, weekly un-structured meet-ups and frequent write-ins during National Novel Writing Month. Our Regular Meet-Ups Writing Extravaganza - Every month we get together in the comfort of the Writer's Perch …

As our membership grows, we can group together by genre or needs. Some may elect to form small novelist or short story critique groups. There wil …
A great group of avant-garde women who want to read and talk about challenging literature - fictional and non-fictional. This is NOT your chic-lit group. We read classics like Rand, Lewis, and Twain. We read moderns like Friedman, Friedan, Robbins, and even Rowling. All for FUN. We're clever, raucous, valiant, and not afraid to use a dictionary!
Join us if you are interested in broadening your horizons. We'll be reading fiction one month and non-fiction the next.

This thematic book club idea originated in Durham, North Carolina and traveled to Mesa, Arizona once I moved to the desert. This group reads two books a month. By the second Saturday of the month we have finished a “tie-in” book and movie and get together to watch the film and discuss both book and show afterwards. Also, we have snacks brought by members that also coincide with something from the book. If the movie is playing at the theater, we meet there. If not, we meet at a group member's …
We will meet monthly and read a variety of different books including non-fiction, fiction, and possibly the occasional bibliography. We will meet at member's houses and will be in groups no larger than 6 or 7. I am open to suggestions for books or meeting locations.
Looking to make new friends and enjoy good books? I am! Looking to meet once a month (or less depending on length of group) at my home for food, drinks, and good conversation. Fiction, and select non-fiction books would be selected which we would vote on. Just an informal group of women who like to read, and like to chat even more ;-)
There are no upcoming Meetups.
This is a book club aimed at reading good literature, non-fiction, and other material that is thought provoking.
Phoenix Fan Force is a non-profit club for fans of the Star Wars saga. Phoenix Fan Force (PFF) is all about getting fans together in our community and helping them meet and interact with each other. If there is a convention, movie screening, and/or a book signing, PFF will make an effort to take part in the event. We also do movie viewings, watch Star Wars videos, have restaurant outings, and camp-out/line-up for Episode VII! The Forums on our website are used by PFF members to meet fellow like …
This is a book club for those women in Queen Creek and San Tan Valley. All ages are welcome. I'm tired of driving to Mesa, Gilbert or Chandler to go to a book club. So this is for all of us readers who want something close to home. I read fiction and non-fiction but ideas for good books are always welcome. If you want a break from being a mom or working please come join our group. Once I get some members we can decide together when is the best time to meet up. We will also then choose our first …
